The DRIVETEC 320 SuperMinifloppy™ provides 3.3 megabyte storage capacity and 3 millisecond track-to-track performance in a compact, low cost, half-height 5%” minifloppy format. Downward compatibility is maintained with existing minidiskettes by utilizing a 192 tpi double-sided recording format. A proprietary track following servo system ensures accurate, on-track read/write head positioning.

SuperMinifloppy design emphasizes reliability and long life. An absolute vertical clamping mechanism results in accurate, repeatable diskette regis- tration. A brushless DC motor and on-

board microprocessor provide enhanced performance as well as reliable operation. No preventive maintenance is required for the DRIVETEC 320.
